Employment Applicant Privacy Policy

SAS 70 Solutions respects the privacy of employment candidates.  This privacy policy sets forth how we will use the information we obtain when your information is submitted for employment consideration.

By submitting information to SAS 70 Solutions for consideration, employment candidates are providing approval of the information use policies described herein and authorize SAS 70 Solutions to use gathered information in the manner described below.  Additionally, the employment candidate agrees to release and hold harmless SAS 70 Solutions from any loss or damages that may result from the loss, misuse, alteration, leakage or destruction of the employment candidate’s information.

Employment candidates that do not agree to the terms of use described herein should not submit information to SAS 70 Solutions.


Information Collection

SAS 70 Solutions relies heavily on employment candidates to provide information relevant to the position(s) they apply for.  Employment candidates are solely responsible for ensuring that the information submitted is accurate and current as of the date of submission.  To the extent we deem appropriate and in accordance with applicable law, we may seek additional data and/or verify employment candidate’s information by contacting references, prior employers, and prior or current colleagues and associates.

SAS 70 Solutions may also request that the candidate voluntarily submit to employment verification screening, credit verification, and/or a criminal background check as a condition of being considered for employment.  Information garnered from such procedures will be considered sensitive information and access to the information will be limited to SAS 70 Solutions human resources personnel and shareholders.


Information Use

The information that SAS 70 Solutions obtains in relation to an employment candidate may be used by SAS 70 Solutions to consider the employment candidate’s fitness for employment and for general internal purposes.  Any or all information submitted by an employment candidate, and/or derived during the recruiting process will be added to and maintained in our internal systems.

SAS 70 Solutions may indefinitely retain and use information for internal purposes relating to employment candidates regardless of whether SAS 70 Solutions offers to employ or ultimately employs the employment candidate.


Information Disclosure

At SAS 70 Solutions sole discretion, non-sensitive information may be shared internally without any limitation.

Unless instructed in writing to do otherwise, SAS 70 Solutions may share information of any type with third party recruiters if such recruiters are responsible for, in whole or in part, originally submitting the employment candidate’s information to SAS 70 Solutions. Such recruiters are considered to be the agents of employment candidates and any information that would be shared with the employment candidate may be shared with the employment candidate’s recruiter(s).

Where appropriate, information may be disclosed to law enforcement, regulatory or other government agencies, or third parties where necessary or desirable to comply with legal or regulatory obligations or requests.


Information Security

Although SAS 70 Solutions has implemented reasonable commercial standards of operational security, including technological mechanisms, to protect employment candidates’ information from loss, misuse, alteration, leakage or destruction, the transmission of data to third parties involves inherent risks that the employment candidate assumes by submitting such information.
