SAS 70 Solutions is a firm built on excellence. Since the day the company was founded, the objective of the shareholders has been to create an auditing firm that is superior to its competitors at every level. In order to achieve this objective, SAS 70 Solutions has pursued the best and brightest professionals in the industry.

Our Company

SAS 70 Solutions, Inc. was founded in 2002 by former "Big 4" accounting firm executives and SAS 70 audit experts. SAS 70 Solutions is recognized as the first CPA firm in history founded exclusively for the purposes of providing SAS 70 audit services. From the beginning, our mission statement has been to provide our clients with the best attributes of the "Big 4" accounting firms while eliminating the non-customer service oriented components.

We are redefining an industry that in many cases has allowed financial interests to cloud judgment and quality of service. Too often, large accounting firms provide SAS 70 project teams primarily staffed with consultants that have less than three years of experience. These team members may have little or no SAS 70 audit experience…yet their hourly fees may be shockingly high. This same fee structure makes it difficult for senior level personnel to spend a material amount of time supervising the project without exceeding the budget and destroying their profit margin. It is a major flaw in the traditional "pyramid" personnel structure.

SAS 70 Solutions has made a conscious decision not to assume the negative attributes of our competitors. Every member of our team is a SAS 70 expert. Every member of our team has professional certifications and designations that demonstrate their expertise. We generally operate on a fixed fee budget and our total fees are often a fraction of the those of our major competitors.

We are a medium size public accounting firm. Our streamlined infrastructure is beneficial to our clients since it means that we do not have to pass along the overhead related to being a large organization in our fees. We are proud that we do not have the extravagant offices, administrative staff or legal expenses of the larger firms. We allocate our resources to those areas that allow us to be more productive and to continue increasing the quality of service to our clients.

In addition, our size also allows us to be more responsive to each client. Our competitors typically have an extensive bureaucracy that is involved with each critical decision. The Founders of SAS 70 Solutions are intimately involved in each project, allowing for critical decisions to be made much more rapidly.

Our Personnel

Our personnel are proven leaders. Most were senior consultants, managers or senior managers at "Big 4" accounting firms before joining SAS 70 Solutions. Our professionals average in excess of 7 years of professional services experience. Additionally, the median average SAS 70 audit experience of our personnel exceeds 65 previously completed SAS 70 projects. We believe that this makes our firm the highest concentration of SAS 70 experience currently available in the marketplace. In fact, many team members have successfully achieved the 100 and 200 completed SAS 70 experience levels and are, to the best of our knowledge, the most experienced SAS 70 auditors in the world.

In addition to experience, our personnel have a demonstrated level of expertise. Most employees carry two or more professional designations that include the following certifications:

» Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)*
» Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)*
» Certified Internal Auditor (CIA)*

* Indicates that over 50% of the audit staff has obtained the certification.

Historically, the voluntary attrition rate at SAS 70 Solutions has averaged less than 10% per year.
