Why SAS 70 Solutions?

Because we aren’t the typical professional services firm!

At SAS 70 Solutions, we employ many of the best and brightest professionals in the industry. Listed below are the advantages of working for SAS 70 Solutions that have allowed us to attract and retain such talented team members.

  • Our various service lines are led by industry leading experts that understand the value of developing the knowledge and skills of our team members.
  • We offer an extremely competitive and comprehensive compensation package that is further detailed in the Compensation and Benefits Summary section of this website.
  • We provide our team members with the ability to develop a deep skill set. Opportunities exist for team members to participate in a variety of projects, including SAS 70 audits, PCI assessments, ISO 27002 reviews, as well as several other types of compliance and security projects.
  • We have a national focus, and thus, are not hindered by barriers that limit many firms to “geographic regions”.
  • Our national focus provides team members with significant leeway to live in the city of their choice.
  • We have the in-house qualifications necessary to provide all of the services we market and are not forced to portray our team members as “jacks of all trades” in order to sell chargeable time.
  • We provide our team members with the support and encouragement to obtain and maintain the industry’s most respected designations, including the CISSP, CISA, CIA, PCI QSA/ASV and CPA (when applicable) certifications.
  • Time reporting does not exist at SAS 70 Solutions. Furthermore, chargeability is not tracked or used as a performance metric.
  • Our team members are not tasked with sales goals or managed fee goals.
  • Monday morning through Thursday evening is considered to be “standard travel”. Our team members are given bonuses for any instance where non-standard travel is required. Bonuses are also given for most instances of international travel.
  • Our team members have visibility into their schedule that extends months into the future, along with an indication of the “likelihood” of the assignment changing. Scheduling changes rarely occur within 30 days of fieldwork.
  • The standard work week is considered to be 40 hours, excluding travel time. Even during busy season, work levels tend to stay in this range. Team members are never asked to work at a client site on weekends.
  • Team members are not required to book their own travel reservations. An in-house travel specialist handles all travel reservations for the teams and distributes calendar entries containing all relevant travel details.
  • The volume of voicemails and e-mails unrelated to client engagements are typically reduced by 90% when compared to the previous employer.
  • All team members are W-2 employees. In order to keep all team members' goals aligned, subcontractors are only utilized for extremely specialized purposes. Subcontractor use is a very rare occurrence given that SAS 70 Solutions maintains sufficient in-house expertise to provide all of the services it markets.
  • "Destination" corporate outings are held for team members and their significant others on an annual basis to provide for camaraderie between team members and to thank the significant others that support our efforts throughout the year.
