Compensation And Benefits Summary

COMPENSATION

SAS 70 Solutions provides a generous compensation package to its team members. Performers are rewarded in our system. Each year, salaries are adjusted based on individual performance, but are also balanced against the team member’s peer group. Although years of professional experience are important when determining compensation levels, we heavily weight specific contributions of our personnel to our overall success when determining individual compensation adjustments. It is entirely possible that a less experienced person could outperform an experienced person within our system. Such performers have historically received appropriate compensation adjustments without regard for “salary bands” or years of professional experience.

SAS 70 Solutions recognizes that compensation is an important factor in retaining the most talented personnel. For that reason, we consistently monitor market statistics to ensure that our compensation packages are among the most competitive in the marketplace.

BENEFITS

Quarterly Bonus Program

SAS 70 Solutions provides discretionary quarterly bonuses that are derived directly from net income results and allocated to its team members based on individual performance. Historically, these bonuses have been a substantial portion of team members’ annual W-2 income.

Travel Rewards Program

Depending on position, SAS 70 Solutions provides a bonus to team members upon every instance in which the team member is asked to engage in “non-standard” travel. Specific details of the program are provided during orientation; however, qualifying instances normally involve travel that does not occur between Monday morning and Thursday evening. Additionally, discretionary bonus amounts are paid for international travel.

Personal Time Off

Team members receive between 20 and 30 days of personal time off (PTO) each year depending on their position. Included in this PTO are 10 days in which SAS 70 Solutions shuts down operations during the weeks of Christmas and New Years Day holidays. Actual dates of the office closing for Christmas and New Years Day holidays encompass full 5-day weeks and are decided on an annual basis.

Holidays

SAS 70 Solutions typically observes the following holidays when the holidays occur during the business week: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and the Friday following Thanksgiving Day.

Medical Benefits

SAS 70 Solutions provides optional healthcare and dental insurance benefits to its team members. Highlights of these benefits include:

  • Health and dental insurance benefits administered by major healthcare and dental insurance carriers.
  • A PPO healthcare plan that eliminates the need for participants to obtain a referral in order to visit in-network physicians.
  • A health savings account (HSA) that allows participants to make pre-tax contributions to the account and use the funds for eligible healthcare expenses.
Life Insurance

SAS 70 Solutions provides optional complimentary life insurance coverage to team members with death benefits equal to the lesser of the team member’s annual salary or $100,000.

Long Term Disability Insurance

SAS 70 Solutions provides an optional complimentary long term disability insurance benefit to its team members.

401(k) and Roth 401(k) Plans

SAS 70 Solutions provides optional retirement plan benefits to its team members that include access to a 401(k) plan offering both pre-tax and a Roth post-tax contribution features. SAS 70 Solutions contributes immediately vested employer matching funds equal to up to 6% of a team member's annual W-2 income. Retirement plan investment services are provided by one of the nation's leading financial services companies, and all account management activities can be performed online.

Training and Education Programs

Team members are supported in maintaining appropriate education requirements to meet their CPE requirements for relevant accounting, audit and IT certifications and licenses. Currently, training is conducted via self-study courses, seminars, off-site training courses and any other means necessary to meet supported CPE requirements. To the extent team members are eligible; SAS 70 Solutions encourages team members to obtain the CPA, CIA, CISA, PCI-QSA and CISSP designations, among others, and pays for related preparatory materials, training and examination fees.

Professional Memberships

SAS 70 Solutions reimburses team members for membership dues incurred to participate in relevant professional organizations.

Complimentary Tax Return Preparation

SAS 70 Solutions reimburses personnel for the fees incurred to have a preferred vendor prepare team members’ standard federal income tax returns and all state income tax returns.
